Start living.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against things like this. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified self with its passions and its desires.
If we live by the Spirit, let’s follow the Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-25 CEB)

This is the life I want to live. It doesn't always work out, but I try to move forward to these ideals. It is ironic that I see these lived out more in Buddist or the non-religious. In fact I can count on my fingers the number of those who profess to follow Jesus and have this type of fruit in their lives.

It's not good.

I encounter at least about 800 followers of Christ every week. I see the brokenness, hatred, fear, and sorrow that plagues those who believe in God.

We blame the "church", but have we forgotten that we are the church? I am part of this problem, we all are.

How do we move forward?

What can we do to have more fruit in our lives?

What's this blog about?

What’s this blog about?

Live: (adj) exerting force or containing energy

We all do it.  It’s about the different ways we contain life, and the different way we exert life.

Emergent: (n) something emergent

What’s emergent?  It’s coming into being.

Every person has so many possibilities to live in so many ways.  Never before in life have there been so many options before us.

There are all kinds of different ways to travel this road of life.  There are sages, prophets, writers, family, friends, and all kinds of examples to follow.

Some examples are better than other examples.  Some paths are just more fun.
I believe: grace, justice, resurrection, hope, joy, self-control, love, faith, knowledge, science, wisdom,
academia, peace, God, interdependence.

I want to share the way(s) I come into the fullness of what God has for me.

So perhaps it might help others come into the fullness that God has for them.

Peace be with you.
